Every
student and studio member at ELEMENTS receives:
▪ Unlimited studio access seven days a week, including weekday
evenings. With two throwing rooms, handbuilding center and private glaze room, space is always available within your busy
schedule. Expert assistance is available during open studio hours.
▪ Constant access to more than 60 food-safe
glazes, including underglazes, crystals, oxides, decorating slips, engobes and majolicas. We also provide a selection of lowfire,
raku and Cone 10 glazes for special events and specialty classes. You may also purchase additional glazes at Kickwheel (or
glaze chemicals) using your discount. We are always busy formulating new glazes for your enjoyment!
▪ No limits
on the amount of clay you can purchase and use during a course, or the number of pieces you can fire. Whether you only use
your free bag, or wish to try several different bodies – the only limit is your desire!
▪ A choice between more
than 30 unique clay bodies, all created in Georgia. With five raku clays, several porcelains and even a black stoneware, we
do not limit our members’ clay choice (provided that the clay is course appropriate). Our clays are available for only $13
- $25 per 25 lbs., including your glazing and firing.
▪ A 10% discount in Kickwheel Pottery Supply on tools,
bats, books and glazes (this includes Giffin Grips!). Discounts on workshops and specialty classes hosted at ELEMENTS and
KPS.
▪ Free raku party. Choose to learn about and participate hands-on in the raku process or watch the firing
from the sidelines. Glazing and firing is free to students.
▪ A choice between firing in either electric or gas.
We have glaze and clay samples from each kiln with your selection. All glazes provided in the studio (except for raku) are
food-safe.
